Your Excellency,
Although I shall be in Cuba on January 1st 2004 I am writing on behalf of the Blackpool and Fylde Cuba Solidarity Campaign to offer our heart-felt congratulations and solidarity greetings on the 45th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.
The past year has seen increased hostility from the United States and its European allies towards your country yet international solidarity continues to grow as Cuba resolutely defends its right to self-determination and advances along its socialist path.
As we salute the Cuban people and their Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz we reaffirm our commitment to work in solidarity with you to end the illegal, immoral and unjust US blockade, defend Cuba’s right to national sovereignty against all aggression, and free the Cuban Five.
